Over decades we are familiar to listen to the sansrit slokas from Chandi in an unique way from legedary Sri Birendra Krtishna Bhadra…The lines start with like this Aswiner Sharodo praate beje utheche alokomonjir…its shivers the feeling in our blood that its devi poksha the onset of Durga puja. The Mahisasurmardini was scripted by legendary Bani Kumar, Music by Pankaj Kumar Mullick and Biredra Krishna Bhadra in Chandipath a combination for centuries a mark that is still a masterpiece. This programme was aired by All India Radio and was presented live for 30 years since 1932.
